welcome to Griffin Lodge, it is our main aim to make your stay with us a fantastic experience you will treasure forever. We ask that you read and except the terms and conditions which must be complied with by all persons staying at Griffin Lodge. These enable us to maintain our standards, to assist in proper management and to ensure your safety and wellbeing at all times.

Arrival 

Griffin Lodge will be ready for you to check in from 4pm, there is keyless entry and you will be given the code prior to your arrival.

Departure

On departure please strip the beds and place all bed linen in the linen bags provided and the towels in the separate towel laundry bags. Check out is at 10am. Please leave the house clean and tidy and take out the bins. Any breakages and damage must be reported to Holly and might need to be paid for.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are very welcome, the MUST be confirmed on the booking. We ask that you always clean up after your dog and make sure the poo bags get put in the bin. Please keep your dog off the furniture and do not leave them unattended at the property. Please also make sure your dog stays downstairs.

Respect for the House

Please respect the beautiful setting you are in and the area around you, no loud music is permitted and anyone being a nuisance or disturbing the peace will be asked to leave immediately and with no refund.

Covid

If Griffin Lodge is required to close due to a local or national lockdown you will be able to move your stay to any available time within the next two years of your original booking creation. Any other covid based cancellations are covered by our standard booking policy below. Please make sure you have appropriate travel insurance.

Booking Policy

When you book with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions

When payment is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email from us confirming the dates of your stay. Should you need to cancel or alter your booking please inform us as soon as possible. Cancellations are only refunded ( minus a 6% admin fee) up to 14 days before your arrival date, after this time there will be no refund. We are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are  prevented from fulfilling as a riot or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster , epidemics , pendemics, or such similar events("Force Majeure ".) We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

Check in is between 4pm and 9pm and check out is at 10am. If you are planning on having people visit you on site while you are staying at Griffin Lodge this needs to be pre approved by the management before they arrive.

Well behaved dog are very welcome but MUST be booked in.

We do not allow smoking inside our house. Breakages and damage must be reported before checkout and may be charged for.

We do not except any liability for any damage , loss or injury to you your vehicles or property during your stay.

Cancellations by us

We reserve the right to cancel a stay with us in the very unlikely circumstance that the house is damaged or unsafe for you to stay in, in this instance you will be given a full refund.
